Now that May is here and the weather is heating up, we have our sights set on summer. And naturally, as the temps are getting warmer, we’re beginning to pull out our summertime activewear. As we do so, we’re mentally taking note of the gear we need to pick up this year—whether it’s because our favorite trainers are starting to get worn out or because we can’t seem to find the shorts we spent most of last summer running in. If you’re in a similar situation, then you’re in luck because you can score some amazing running gear for less in Lululemon’s “We Made Too Much” section.

On Lululemon’s site, if you hover over the Women and/or Men tab, you’ll see a section at the very bottom that says “We Made Too Much.” And trust us, you’ll want to click on that because when you do, you’ll be able to shop over 150 running gear items (just be sure to select the Running option under the Activity tab on the side to see all of the running gear). Since that’s a lot of stuff to sift through, we went ahead and picked out a few summer-ready items—from a flowy tank to lined shorts to a pair of editor-approved running shoes—to help get you started.

Best Women’s Running Shoe

Blissfeel 2 Women's Running Shoe

This particular running shoe is not only going for as low as $69 on Lululemon’s site right now, but it’s also an editor favorite, having made both our list of best running shoes for women and our list of best running shoes. Test Editor Amanda Furrer gave them a try and noted in a separate review of the shoes that “running in the 2 felt like running in Adidas’s Ultraboost. It’s thickset, but there’s plenty of pop to the 2’s ride. The toe room and cushioning felt like a reprieve after testing narrower, less-supportive trainers.”

So for women who are looking for a new shoe to run in all summer long, you might want to give these a go—especially since they’re under $100 and come in six colorways in the “We Made Too Much” section.

With four colorways to choose from—depending on which length you opt for—this lined short is currently under $60 in Lululemon’s “We Made Too Much” section. There are three different lengths available, as well—all of which are under $60.

Associate Reviews Editor Tom Price tested out the 5-inch version of these shorts, noting in his review that “the liner kept my legs from chafing against one another and my hips and legs feeling stable. As for the storage, instead of my phone and wallet bouncing around in the zippered pocket, the side leg pockets kept them locked in. The compression helped here, too, with the elastane and recycled polyester blend keeping my phone and wallet tight against my legs.”
